Got a free bouquet of Flowers from SKII

I was at Pavilion in Bukit Bintang 2 days ago and SKII was having a promotion on the ground floor with big booths set up and many counters to accept and advise clients for their products. In fact I was given a free key chain and was prepared to buy the whitening serum to remove freckles at $760 when I was told that it was out of stock. Being gracious, the salesgirl gave me a bouquet of flowers meant for clients and I was delighted. I gave the bouquet to mum who will be flying by Air Asia to Singapore for 6 days starting on Thursday and returning on Wednesday. It was the first time I visited Pavilion, having heard about it online with good reviews. Well, it is a bigger version of Gurney Plaza with the top floor and basement floor occupied by restaurants. I had dinner at Dragon-I beside the exit and ordered abalone set for $120. We went to Pavilion by GPS using Waze on my I-Phone 6. I have given my old I-phone 5 to my second sister in Southampton.

More than 10 Blogs

I have a total of 12 blogs where 2 of them are updated regularly since I get to earn USD 5 per month for each of them from a sponsor. It is paid to my paypal account on the 10th every month and they are prompt in their payments. Now, there are no more opportunities for sponsored posts from Blogsvertise since my registered blogs are not updated regularly. But I am not discouraged about this. I have several sources of income including rental income from Rhythm Avenue which I bought late last year. I also earn from my Fixed Deposits every month for a few hundred ringgit and also an allowance of $350 from OUK.

I get to renew my passport for free for 5 more years and enter Zoo Negara for free due to my OUK card. There are many benefits with the OUK card since I have a health condition that renders me unable to work outside in a normal environment. I am under medication for life and my parents make a visit to the specialist every 3 months to collect my medication.

Apartments

I have 3 apartments, where 2 are in Times Square and a third one in Rhythm Avenue in KL. The one in KL is being rented out to my company since March 2015 even though it was bought in October 2014 according to the date of the sales and purchase agreement. The previous owner had upgraded to a new location, somewhere in Damansara and he is from Negeri Sembilan. He is in his early thirties and works in KL. However, during the time he sold his old apartment to me, I did not know that he was jobless at that time, otherwise, I would have bargain further down for the cost of the house. The services and lift maintenance are horrible, where we have to walk across the car park and take 2 lifts just to get down and up to our unit.

Year of the Dog

I am born in the year of the dog way back in 1970. So, you can guess my age. I find countries that eat dogs disgusting! You don't kill a family member and eat him. It is so grotesque and even here in Malaysia, some foreigners like Nepalese and Bangladeshis kill strays dogs for food as they are too poor to buy from the market. Every year, boatloads of Rohingyas, Bangladeshis, Myammars, and workers around that region come to a haven, Malaysia or Thailand to work illegally and to escape death and persecution in their own countries. Some might even starve to death during the long journey here as the condition is way too packed and crowded for space and lack of food and drinking water. The lucky ones stay alive while the not so lucky ones will be buried somewhere in north Kedah, South Thailand, etc. There are already 6 million illegal workers here in Malaysia and the government does not seem to care about its border controls, bringing in social ills and beggaring on the streets.

Came back from Down South

I just came back from KL, staying there for 4 days 3 nights including 1 night at Mandarin Oriental Hotel using the free Elite voucher. Went for a 50% discount massage that cost $392 full amount, but not impressed with the masseur. The way she speaks and massage me with so many questions only begs for high tips from me, which I refused to give due to the bad service. She also used a massage oil with funny aroma that stains my t-shirt. This is the last time I go for a massage at Mandarin Oriental despite the high price and might consider Thai Odyssey instead - a professional service for massage, but the last time I tried in Hatyai, I lost my wallet although the service was superb.

So, the moral of the story is that if you are not stressed out, don't just go for any massage. Just sleep in bed under my silk comforter with the air-con turned on. Don't just throw money away haphazardly.

Pugs are Silent

Pugs used to be emperors' pet dog from China and spread its reach to the shores of Europe and around the world. They are basically silent type of pet, unlike other breeds that can be very noisy in the neighbourhood. They are cute and the short fur is easy to maintain as compared to Pomeranian or poodle. Pugs have the typical wrinkles on their faces with folds of skin on the foreheads. Their short noses and silent demeanor make them suitable for the elderly and kids. Keeping pets can be cathartic and stress-reducing. They provide loyal friendship that is rivalled to none. If you want to keep a small pet without all the big mess, and high maintenance, then choose a Pug for a pet.

Just Came Back from Genting

I just came back from Genting Highland and stayed at First World Hotel for $292 per night on weekends which is considered peak season. The price for the room on Friday is only $110. We also watched the best show on America's Got Talent of Illunimati using tubes of various coloured neon lights to illuminate the dance steps. The show for 2 persons right in the front was $317. I also replaced my Genting Rewards Card that was lost some months back and had my 1,500 rewards points or $15 deducted for the new card. Such are the stringent rules now where previously, the replacement was done for free. We also dined at Ah Yat Abalone Restaurant and ordered marble goby or 'soon hock' fish and the total bill was over $307 for 2.
