[Video] Foodie Party at Queens Waterfront Q2 by the Sea in Penang Island.

A vibrant "Foodie Party" unfolds in Penang, set against the scenic backdrop of Queens Waterfront Q2. The event, as captured in the video, is a lively celebration of food, community, and simple joys, echoing themes of fellowship and abundance that are beautifully illustrated in the Holy Scriptures.

The video opens with a large, colorful sign announcing the "Foodie Party," an invitation to a communal feast. This immediately brings to mind the many instances of feasts and gatherings in the Bible, which were central to social and religious life. From the wedding at Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine (John 2:1-11), to the parable of the great banquet (Luke 14:15-24), where a king invites many to his feast, the act of sharing a meal is portrayed as a time of celebration, fellowship, and divine blessing.

As the camera pans across the event, we see a delightful array of stalls and activities. There are food trucks, reminiscent of the mobile nature of the early disciples' ministry, bringing nourishment to the people. One particular truck, with its large screen, displays advertisements, a modern-day proclamation. The various stalls sell everything from crafts and toys to an assortment of delectable foods and drinks. This diversity of offerings can be seen as a reflection of the manifold gifts and blessings that God bestows upon His people. As it is written in James 1:17, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights."

The lively atmosphere of the party, with people of all ages mingling and enjoying themselves, is a beautiful picture of community. Families are seen strolling along the waterfront, children are playing games, and friends are gathered around tables, sharing food and laughter. This sense of togetherness and shared joy is a cornerstone of Christian fellowship. The Bible encourages believers to "live in harmony with one another" (Romans 12:16) and to "rejoice with those who rejoice" (Romans 12:15). The "Foodie Party" provides a wonderful setting for such joyful communion.

A particularly touching aspect of the event is the presence of pets, with some even being pushed in strollers. This inclusion of all members of the family, even the furry ones, speaks to a compassionate and inclusive spirit, a reflection of God's love for all His creation. The book of Proverbs reminds us that "the righteous care for the needs of their animals" (Proverbs 12:10).

The seaside setting adds another layer of beauty and meaning to the event. The gentle lapping of the waves and the view of the distant hills create a serene and picturesque backdrop. The natural world, in all its splendor, is a testament to God's creative power and love. As Psalm 19:1 declares, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." The "Foodie Party," situated in this beautiful location, allows people to enjoy not only the fellowship of one another but also the beauty of God's creation.

The video concludes with a powerful and poignant message, displaying the words of John 3:16 and 1 John 4:9-10. These verses, which speak of God's immense love for humanity, provide a profound spiritual context for the joyful scenes we have just witnessed. John 3:16, perhaps the most famous verse in the Bible, declares, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." This verse is the very heart of the Christian faith, a declaration of God's sacrificial love.

Similarly, 1 John 4:9-10 elaborates on this theme: "This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." These verses remind us that the ultimate expression of love is found in God's selfless act of sending His Son to redeem humanity.

In light of these scriptures, the "Foodie Party" can be seen as more than just a secular event. It becomes a microcosm of a world loved by God, a place where people can experience a taste of the joy, fellowship, and abundance that are promised in the kingdom of God. The simple act of sharing a meal, in the company of loved ones, in a beautiful setting, becomes a celebration of life and a reflection of the divine love that sustains and enriches our lives. The video, therefore, is not just a documentation of a fun-filled event, but a beautiful and moving reminder of the simple blessings that surround us and the profound love that underpins our existence. It is a testament to the fact that even in our everyday lives, in the midst of a bustling food festival, we can find glimpses of God's goodness and grace.

Jesus is the Reason for the Season: A Heartfelt Reminder

As we approach the festive season, with twinkling lights, cozy gatherings, and the exchange of gifts, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of it all. However, amidst the flurry of holiday preparations, it's crucial to pause and reflect on the true meaning of this season: Jesus is the reason for the season.

Christmas, at its core, is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the savior of humanity. His arrival brought hope, love, and salvation to a world in need. The nativity scene reminds us of the humble beginnings of the Messiah, born in a stable, wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger. This simple yet profound event embodies the essence of the season - the gift of God's love.

In the midst of the shopping lists and party planning, let's remember the spiritual significance of Christmas. It's a time to cultivate kindness, compassion, and gratitude. It's an opportunity to reflect on our own lives and how we can share the love and joy of Christ with others. Acts of kindness, charity, and spreading the message of hope exemplify the true spirit of Christmas.

So, as we decorate our homes, bake cookies, and gather with loved ones, let's not forget the reason for the season. Jesus' birth serves as a reminder of the incredible gift of love and salvation bestowed upon us. Let's celebrate with hearts full of gratitude and share the love that Jesus brought into the world with those around us. After all, the joy of Christmas lies in embracing the message that Jesus is the reason for the season.

[Videos] Happy Good Friday & Easter Sunday, etc.

This Youtube "Good Friday and Easter Sunday" is a short clip.

From Wikipedia, Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus Christ, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.

Easter-observing Christians commonly refer to the week before Easter as Holy Week, which in Western Christianity begins on Palm Sunday (marking the entrance of Jesus in Jerusalem), includes Spy Wednesday (on which the betrayal of Jesus is mourned), and contains the days of the Easter Triduum including Maundy Thursday, commemorating the Maundy and Last Supper, as well as Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus.

What is Easter? Easter Sunday is one of the principal holidays, or feasts, of Christianity. It marks the Resurrection of Jesus three days after his death by crucifixion. For many Christian churches, Easter is the joyful end to the Lenten season of fasting and penitence. The resurrection power of Jesus on Easter Sunday, defeated the power of the evil one (Satan), once and for all. It is done!

I was aware of another property for sale in Batu Maung, Penang. It is a serviced 4-star hotel suite called Oakwood Hotels, managed and owned by Polygon Properties (Ventus & Tradesmen), in Queens Waterfront Q2. It is still under development, by the way, as of today, 9th April 2023.

Wishing everyone a Blessed EASTER Sunday! Christians celebrate this very important occasion, for it marks the victory of Jesus over Satan, the devil, who came to steal, kill and to destroy! In each of us, there is a Jesus and a Judah. Which persona shows more often? Hope it is Jesus and not Judah, the betrayer. Let the Holy Spirit guide us to do what is right, and not to steal, cheat, and do some hanky-panky stuffs, to win in this race called Life. At the end of the day when we are called home to be with our Maker, then we are held accountable for our actions here on Earth.

I just love the colorful Easter banner here. Okay, that's it for this week's blog post. Meanwhile, stay safe, stay healthy and most of all, stay HAPPY.
