This year, we decided to mark the occasion with a memorable dinner at Foong Wei Heong Chinese Restaurant in Penang. Known for its authentic Chinese cuisine and warm ambiance, this popular spot exceeded all expectations.

Located in the heart of George Town, Foong Wei Heong blends tradition and modernity, making it the perfect venue for a festive celebration. The highlight, of course, was the food. We started with their signature double-boiled soup, a comforting blend of flavors that set the tone for the evening. The pomfret fish cooked in two styles stole the show with its crispy skin and tender meat, paired with yam basket and Worcestershire sauce. Other standout dishes included the braised spinash, etc, each meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor.

What made the experience even more special was the family-style dining setup. Sharing platters of food created a sense of togetherness and joy, perfectly embodying the spirit of Christmas.

Foong Wei Heong’s impeccable service and delicious dishes turned our Christmas Eve dinner into a cherished memory. Whether you're a Penang local or a visitor, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for festive dining.

As we sipped on Chinese tea to end the meal, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the love, laughter, and incredible food that brought us together that night. Merry Christmas from all of us!

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of meeting Wen, the inspiring lady founder known for her vibrant energy, dressed in her signature red tee. The gathering took place at Zus Coffee in Air Itam, a cozy café perfect for meaningful conversations and laughter.

Wen, along with a small group of like-minded individuals, created a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. As we sipped our perfectly brewed coffee, the discussions flowed effortlessly.
