Was in Singapore for a day

I flow down to Singapore alone by Air Asia which cost about RM 580 including airport tax, etc. When I reached there, I got help to get a Grab car that cost extra S$8 for a total of S$26 when it was only S$18 for the exact price,. The sales girl at the airport took the opportunity to charge extra dollars to pocket herself. The taxis were just outside, but in my enthusiasm, I asked the wrong person instead. I reach the Malaysian High Commissioner at around 12:00 noon and had to wait for after lunchtime before I could collect the signed documents. While waiting, a certain conman, named Lawrence Cheong, approached me looking for targets together with his 2 African assistants. Luckily, I was not taken in by his empty promises and silly ideas to make money our of me and my cousin.

May go down to Singapore

Next week, I might go down to Singapore to collect sar ee's stamped IC and passport from the Malaysian High Commissioner so that her car can be sold to me and name changed. She had given mum full and final power of attorney of her assets. I have yet to buy the plane ticket but it will be a one-day affair and not a holiday. I had stayed in Singapore for 12 long years, so I don't miss anything. If possible, I want to come back home soon and get this done as soon as possible. I love working and not spending money unnecessarily. And the exchange rate is not cheap either, with 3 times the Malaysian value of ringgit.

I love Moonlighting

Right now the internet is my cash cow. I love to write, blog, do micro jobs and surveys. These are easy peasy and does not require hard coding skills. I earn part time doing this in my free time when I am not working full time in my job from a home office since 2004 and never looked back. Well, I guess God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams giving me a job that I can easily handle, albeit could be very busy at times. I have also made the wise decision to sell off my Shopify store as I am bleeding cash monthly without much time is devoted to it. No point for me to compete with the big boys and get myself stressed out.

Part time Freelancer

I am a part-time freelancer, having a full time job to work in a home office with benefits of working in a factory for managers. Hence, in my free time, I will moonlight by doing student assignments, writing articles, and a host of other computer jobs, except programming because my programming skills sucks. But fret not, I am now reading about PHP and taking it one step at a time so that I am not at the mercy of programmers and worship them like king. This was what happened to the 3 Harvard graduates who engaged Mark Zuckerberg to be their programmer for Facebook! If you have seen the movie, well, the rest is history for the 3 undergrads with fantastic ideas of coming up with Facebook but got screwed by Zuckerberg himself!

Next year is the year of the Dog

I shall be 48 next year in the zodiac year of the dog. Good riddance to the cockerel. Now coming back from New Zealand, I have many newspapers to catch up, unpacking and the like. Also, more than 50 tax invoices to input to the cloud system to create Purchase Receive to claim from customs. I have also stopped going to church as it is no longer conducive for me to attend ever since that fanatic married to another woman spouse of mine yelled at me in church and he gives RM 1000 / week and now reduced to RM 500 / week! Thinking that God will cancel off his bankruptcy debts. He had 3 legal charges against him, and could no longer travel to the UK since he overstayed as a student when his visa expired and he did not bother to renew it. So, he has been blacklisted from travelling to the UK!

Sixth Miss World win draws India level with Venezuela

An Indian medical student was crowned Miss World at a glitzy event in a Chinese resort on Saturday, making her country the joint-most successful in the beauty pageant’s history.

Manushi Chhillar is the sixth Indian winner of the long-running contest, following in the footsteps of Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai.

Her win brings India level with Venezuela as the countries with most victories in the history of the pageant, now in its 67th edition.

Chhillar, 20, is a trained Indian classical dancer who also enjoys painting and hopes to open a chain of non-profit hospitals in rural areas, according to the Miss World website.

"Thank you, everyone, for your constant love, support,” and prayers she wrote on Twitter. “This one’s for India.”

Chhillar’s victory rapidly became a top trending topic on the social media platform in India after the announcement, with Manohar Lal Khattar -- the minister of her home state of Haryana -- among the first to offer congratulations.

Chhillar was handed the crown by last year’s winner, Stephanie del Valle of Puerto Rico, at the ceremony in the Chinese coastal city of Sanya on Saturday night.

Stephanie Hill of England and Andrea Meza of Mexico finished as runners-up.

Saturday marked the Miss World pageant’s return to Sanya, on southern China’s Hainan Island, for the seventh time, where the event was last held in 2015.

At the previous occasion two years ago, controversy erupted as officials in Hong Kong stopped Miss Canada, Anastasia Lin, from boarding a plane bound for Sanya, telling her she would not receive a visa.

The 25-year old actress claimed the decision was due to her stance on China’s human rights record, including its persecution of Falun Gong, a Chinese spiritual group of which she is a practitioner.

At last year’s event in the United States, Lin was again embroiled in controversy when pageant officials reportedly warned her against speaking to the press for three weeks about human rights abuses in China.

Lin did not participate in this year’s event, with Canada represented instead by Cynthia Menard, a high school student.

Paying for Advertisements

My full-time job is now subsidising for my part-time e-commerce store and advertisements. I even had a book published on Amazon since 2014 with a few sales. Not enough to bring in the constant dough, even though I had paid thousands to self-publish. Quite soon, I have to create calendars again to send out to 50 existing clients and no longer print out 100 copies and send to poor clubs in the villages with no finances to install sports courts. Hence, should my partner retires, then I can fully concentrate on my e-commerce store and bring it to the next level and millionaire sales.
